more than 30 wedding chapels in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville, it's

estimated that more than 30,000 couples choose The Great Smoky Mountains as the
place to begin their married life. Beyond the chapels, there is an assortment
of stunning locations to tie the knot such as Cades Cove or along the Little Pigeon
River. Many couples choose to get married right in the cabin they've rented for
their honeymoon!
There
are a few things that any couple wanting to get married in Tennessee must remember.
Get a valid Tennessee Marriage License. There is no waiting period and an appointment
is not necessary to obtain the license. Proof of age is required by a driver's
license, state-issued picture ID, a valid passport or certified birth certificate.
A blood test is not required and applicants need not be residents of Sevier County
to wed there. The license costs $36 and may be used anywhere in the state of Tennessee.
The County Clerk will only take cash in the exact amount.
